Some people find it very easy to stop smoking. A few find it very difficult. But, for most people, quitting is neither easy nor impossible. Here's what five ex-smokers had to say about quitting: “I chose a date and stuck to it. It was easier than Ithought after all the talk of withdrawals” (Smoked 25 a day for 23 years) “I tried three times. Finally I used willpowerand nearly went mad for three weeks.” (Smoked 20 to 40 a day for 6 years)
